City of Marysville Stormwater Management Program
Stormwater Management Program: The City of Marysville Storm Water Management Plan (SWMP) is being initiated by the City of Marysville and Yuba County to fulfill requirements of the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Phase II requirements for Small Municipal Separate Storm Sewer Systems (Small MS4's). The City of Marysville SWMP provides a plan including Best Management Practices (BMP's), measurable goals, and timetables for the implementation of the Six Minimum Control Measures required by the United States Environmental Protection Agency and the State Water Resources Control Board. This program is intended to include all of the City of Marysville's Storm Drain System. This means all public man-made facilities within the City limits which are owned, operated, maintained or controlled by the City of Marysville by which stormwater may be conveyed to natural basins, detention basins, constructed wetland, artificial channels, curbs, gutters, ditches, sumps, pumping stations, storm drain inlets and storm drains. Illicit Discharges: An illicit discharge is the release or placement of any material into the City storm drain system, or any natural waters which is not expressly authorized by the City, including, but not limited to, stormwater, wastewater, pollutants, solid material, liquids, hazardous waste, raw materials, debris, litter or any other substance. Report a Discharge: When to make a report?
If you want to report any of the above mentioned items, please contact the City Engineer via email at cdykes@marysville.ca.us or call 530-749-3902. |
